The Society is a non-profit organisation which holds art exhibitions, competitions and classes. It is a working gallery and has 11 monthly public exhibitions, some of which are Open Competitions and the remainder are for Members only. We also display all of our exhibited works on our website where members have the opportunity to reach a wider audience and sell their works.

The Society produces a monthly newsletter keeping members informed on news and activities. A calendar is produced once a year including many member’s artworks and the winners of each exhibition.

Art groups and classes are held on weekdays, weekends and evenings. They cover all mediums and some specialize in a particular subject matter. A relaxed and supportive environment is encouraged and students of all levels are welcome. Tuition costs are minimal. In addition to the regular art classes, visiting professional tutors conduct workshops throughout the year.
